Visit the Clearwater Marine Aquarium (home of Winter the dolphin), water sports, boating, art galleries and the newly developed Beach Walk on south Clearwater Beach. Enjoy a variety of nearby attractions including Pier 60, sunset cruises and charter fishing. Exclusive, private and secure, Carlouel is conveniently located approximately 30 minutes from the Tampa International Airport and the Clearwater/St. Petersburg Airport.

With its scenic landscapes, tropical climate and old-Florida charm, Carlouel offers world-class luxury amenities and is the perfect backdrop for weddings, vow renewals, honeymoons, anniversaries and receptions. It’s also an ideal location for small businesses and incentive groups to conduct meetings. In addition to the Main Dining Room, events at Carlouel can be held at the following locations:

  • Board Room
    • Located upstairs, Carlouel’s Board Room is a private space that accommodates up to 20 guests and has breathtaking second-story views of the Intracoastal. Fully equipped with wi-fi and audio visual capabilities, the Board Room is a wonderful resource for business professionals.
  • Birdcage
    • Our outside covered patio area can accommodate up to 50 people for a seated function and 100 people for a reception.
  • Beach
    • Carlouel enjoys the only private beach in Clearwater, and is a perfect place for wedding receptions and gala events. Events at the beach can accommodate more than 400 guests, and is excellent for special occasions.
  • Gazebo and South Lawn
    • Located outside at the end of the clubhouse, our Gazebo area can accommodate 50 people for a seated function and 300 for a reception. The South Lawn on the bay at Carlouel is an exceptional space for tented events or open-air parties. Brimming with gorgeous tropical flora and fauna, the lawn accommodates up to 400 people, and is the perfect place to host garden parties, receptions and tented events.
  • Hobart Room
    • Located downstairs in the main clubhouse, this room can accommodate up to 40 people for a seated function and 60 people for a reception.
  • Main Dining Room
    • Located downstairs in the main clubhouse, this room has stunning views of the Intracoastal. The Main Dining Room can accommodate up to 200 people for a seated function and 300 people for a reception.
  • Palmer Room
    • Located downstairs in the main clubhouse, this room can accommodate up to 60 people for a seated function and 70 people for a reception.
