Whether planning a board meeting, corporate retreat or other group event, Carlouel Yacht Club is the perfect setting.

As one of the most active and renowned private yacht clubs in Florida, Carlouel hosts more than 200 events each year, including member parties, family and organizational gatherings, weddings and birthday parties. These include Club and member-sponsored events for groups ranging from 20 to more than 400 people. We welcome the opportunity to host events for members and guests, and are happy to plan any occasion.   • Why should I choose Carlouel Beach & Yacht Club?

    • Carlouel is the premier family beach Club experience in the greater Tampa Bay area. The Club’s unique tropical setting offers something for everyone including a world-class beach, exquisite dining, boating facilities and a variety of social events for the entire family. It also provides easy access to the Intracoastal, a private boardwalk with member only beach access, and indoor and outdoor dining facilities.

  • Do I have to be a member?

  • Is there a private beach?

    • Carlouel’s location is recognized for it’s exceptional white sand beaches and nearby access to Caladesi Island State Park. The Club offers the only private beach on the Clearwater coastline. Accessible by a member’s only gated boardwalk, a security code is provided to members and their families. We also offer beachside food service seasonally, as well as year-round umbrella and lounge chair rentals.

    • Carlouel’s known for an outstanding selection of dining and entertainment options. Our private kitchen serves innovative and fresh cuisine using only the highest-quality local, artisan and seasonal ingredients, including fresh fish from local waters, and the highest quality cuts of beef.

      With menus designed by award-winning Executive Chef, Kyle Latsha, guests can expect exceptional cuisine. Whether it’s a gourmet lunch in the Bird Cage or a romantic dinner in the Palmer Room, members experience classic coastal fare at its finest.

  • Does the Club have facilities for private parties, events, or weddings?

    • Carlouel is a spectacular location for special events with multiple locations on the beach, the bay, or indoors. The Club features several dining rooms in the Clubhouse, scenic outdoor spaces, and the beach is always a popular chose for weddings and receptions. From horse-drawn carriages on the beach to newly married couples boarding luxury yachts from the bayside docks, Carlouel has something special to offer.
