Carlouel Kids Klub

Carlouel Beach & Yacht Club truly understands the importance of family fun.

That’s why we’ve developed a variety of programs to engage our youngest members. Scheduled activities, holiday parties, Kids' Klub, the CBYC Pirates Swim Team, and themed family parties are just a few of the children’s events held throughout the year. Carlouel also offers complimentary childcare every afternoon along with the evenings of Wednesdays, Friday, and Saturday — ensuring Carlouel parents and children enjoy every minute at the Club.

Pirates Swim Team

Established over 50 years ago, the Carlouel Pirates is a swim club that provides a fun and dynamic aquatics program that instills in children strong work ethics, the importance of teamwork and an exciting focus upon achieving individual and team goals. Coach Ian O’Neil fosters a positive, highly supportive learning environment that promotes success and enjoyment. Carlouel is a member of Florida Swimming Inc. which is a division of United States Swimming. Florida swimming is one of 95 local swim committees that implements USA rules at the local level. Florida Swimming develops a calendar of swim meets each year, and Carlouel swimmers can compete at meets selected by the coaching staff. Members will enjoy their practice in our temperature-controlled, six-lane, 25 yard pool as well as the rest of Carlouel’s facilities.

Wednesday Family Night

We serve up a kid-friendly buffet on the last Wednesday night of each month, and once your children have finished their meal, they are invited to join our staff in the Activities Room for a night of arts and crafts.

Carlouel Kids Kamp

Choosing a camp program for your child is a very important decision and one that requires careful consideration and Carlouel is happy to provide camp programs for your child. The Activities department is committed to offering a safe, positive and immensely satisfying experience while at Carlouel camps. We currently offer camp programs during summer, winter holidays and spring break. Our summer programs camp consists of an immersive 10-week full day camp schedule focused on Marine Science and most importantly fun. From cannonball competitions to dissecting marine life, your child will be introduced to the marine environment and the importance of protecting our beautiful waterfronts, while having plenty of fun. Excursions, arts & crafts, fun experiments and outdoor activities will be the daily focus at Carlouel’s Summer Camps.

Annual Kids Events

Carlouel has been perfecting special events for children since our inception in 1934. From Breakfast with Santa to Easter Egg Hunts, additional events include our annual New Year’s Eve Celebration.
